Returning to Harbour City Funeral Home feels a little like coming home for Pamela. Having previously worked with the team as an embalmer, she is delighted to be back, this time as a Funeral Director. She is also nearing completion of her Diploma in Funeral Directing.

Pamela has always been drawn to people. Before entering the funeral profession, she spent more than 20 years in hospitality, where she loved building relationships and making sure people felt welcome and looked after. Those same values have naturally followed her into funeral service.

For Pamela, being a funeral director is about listening to families, understanding what is important to them and helping create a farewell that feels personal and meaningful. She particularly values the privilege of caring for each person in her care and ensuring they are treated with dignity, respect and compassion.

Outside of work, Pamela enjoys spending time with her fiancé Mark, her son Liam, family and her horses. She feels very fortunate to have found a career that combines her love of people with the privilege of supporting families through one of the most difficult times in their lives.
